Arnis is Philippines’ National Martial Art and Sport

Last Friday, Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo signed Republic Act 9850, imposing the adoption of Arnis as the Philippines’ national martial art and sport.

AT&T Drops Tiger Woods’ Sponsorship

Last Thursday, AT&T Inc. said it would no longer sponsor world’s top golfer Tiger Woods. The phone company has downscale the use of Woods’ image in advertising, but its logo will still appear on his golf bag. It did not state the reasons for dropping Woods.
