Scientists speculate that Gonadotropin-inhibitory hormone (GnIH), a newly found hormone within the hypothalamus of the human brain, may lead to the creation of the male birth control pill.

The said substance was identified in birds ten years ago.

A study says that GnIH could also become a treatment to fight hormone-sensitive cancers such as breast and prostate cancers.
