It’s a bird y’all! It’s the Arctic Tern!
According to a new study, the Arctic Tern travels about 71,000 kilometers through its route between Greenland and Antarctica. It flies about twice farther than previously thought.
Over its lifetime, it migrates about 2.4 million kilometers (equal to three trips to the moon and back).
